GROW Track

GROW Track guides you to discover your God designed purpose and live the best life. GROW Track is made up of four steps that equip you to

  1. Connect with God and this church,
  2. Connect with others
  3. Discover the strengths of your purposeful design,
  4. Use your God-given gifts to make a difference in the lives of others.

GROW Track takes place every Sunday during our 11Am service in room 110, starting with Week One on the first Sunday of the month. We invite you to jump in at any time.

Week One:
Connect with God

Week One is all about your journey with God and connecting with our church. We want you to know God personally, grow deeper in your understanding of Him and walk in freedom like never before. Week One takes place the first Sunday of every month.

Week Two:
Get Connected

Week Two focuses on getting connected to the life of the church. We believe life is lived better in circles rather than in rows. We all grow faster and better together. Week Two takes place the second Sunday of every month.

Week Three:
Discover Purpose

Week Three helps you discover your purpose. God has created you with gifts and talents, and He wants you to know what they are. Dive into the details of your personality, discover your gifts, and see how your design reveals your purpose in life and your best fit in ministry. Week Three takes place the third Sunday of every month.

Week Four:
Make a Difference

Week Four positions you to live out your purpose and make a difference through the church. Find out what it means to serve like a leader and learn how you can strengthen your character and gifting to fulfill your leadership potential. Week Four takes place the fourth Sunday of every month.

Newcomers Dinner

Every month those who are new to CR First are invited to Pastor Brian and Kristi’s home to eat dinner and have a chance to learn more about us; meet the staff, ask questions and find out how to get plugged in.

Baptism

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior and would like to make a public declaration of that decision, we encourage you to participate in the Water Baptism Celebration at CR First.

Freedom Groups

We believe that it is ok to not be ok. However, we know God doesn’t want us to stay that way. To help you walk freely into tomorrow we offer Freedom Groups. These groups are a Bible study and conference experience designed to help believers discover the abundant life that Jesus desires for them. Click below for more information.

Starting Point

If you are new to Cedar Rapids First, new to faith or just looking for a way to connect, then we invite you to come to Starting Point. This one-hour class is held on Sunday mornings, and is designed to help you discover who we are and build a strong foundation for your faith.
