Attending A Service In Person?

On Monday, August 10th, Cedar Rapids was devastated by sustained 1oomph+ winds. The Cedar Rapids First building was among many of those in our community left uninhabitable. The hurricane-force winds severely damaged the roof over the north end of the building causing water damage to the sanctuary, lobby, classrooms, and offices in that part of the building. We are working to redesign our building and recover from our close to $4 million dollars in damages we are still moving forward as a church.

HOW ARE YOU CONDUCTING YOUR IN-PERSON SERVICES?

We are following all of the COVID recommendations provided. We are thoroughly cleaning between services, we are displaying all the required signage, we offer masks and our seats are spaced 6 feet apart. Our kids rooms have plenty of space and our elementary area has seating spaced 6 feet apart.

Masks are encouraged.  We do trust each individual to make healthy decisions for their families. We do have an overflow room set up for those who would like extra space to worship during this current health crisis.
